Styling for this photo shoot was a blast! The bright pops of color featured from Tea collection are my favorite! I love how adding some fun hair and jewelry accessories from A Little Lady Shop, and Stella and Dot, made the looks dressier and more fun for Easter. A special thanks to Emily Jackson from theIvoryLane.com for styling these lovely accessories, we love her chic mama and baby style! As well a huge thank you to Heather Telford Photography our amazing photographer, she captures children and families in such a unique way…we always have so much fun with her… make sure you go and check out her amazing work here!
Easter time is one of my favorite holidays to dress my kids for…having two girls then two boys and then a girl I often coordinate them together in coordinating colors and styles etc. I will usually pick one or two main colors then add in some neutral pieces that coordinate with those colors. For boys..khaki pants or shorts are always my go to…a patterned shirt with a vest either solid or striped is fun adding in a pop of color with a bow tie or tie. This is exactly how I styled the boys for this shoot as well…the bright pop of color from the girls dresses coordinated well with the more neutral colors the boys were wearing. The mix of patters with the boys tops worked well with an added pop of color from a bow tie and tie provided by Taylor Joelle Designs. The key for the boys is layering…this is where it can be fun…add in more color with an under t-shirt or polo shirt in a bright orange, red, or any shade of green, it all depends on your color scheme.
I loved the jewelry from stella and dot how it added a bright pop of color with the darling bracelets, as well as a little daintiness with the pearls worn by miss Capri, and miss Violet. Check out the detail in this flower clip worn by Zoe..such a perfect top knot! All bows, knotted head wraps, and flower clips were provided by A Little Lady Shop.
Sometimes its hard to find stylish options for boys but Tea Collection offers a big selection it was hard to choose. I love their use of patterns and had a lot of fun mixing them. They had several options for neutral shorts or pants. I was excited to accessorize with some fun ties…bow ties are a big trend right now and I am loving it! Taylor Joelle Designs provided these darling ties, and they have several colors and styles to choose from…even for the Dad’s!

Growing up Easter has always been my favorite holiday even more then Christmas, I never could really answer why as a kid and it drove my parents crazy, especially since I’ve never really cared for chocolate. But now I know why, I love the way everything is starting to bloom and look beautiful, and how people are usually always excited because it is getting nice out and I love all the bright colors!! But i love Easter most because every year at my parents house all 4 of us kids since we were young and all 6 of the grandchildren have an Easter egg hunt. My mom hides them all over and most have money in them but others have nice notes, toys for the kids, and of course candy and chocolates. Everyone loves it and its really exciting, and this year I am so excited because it will be my sons who is 1 his first time participating! So that is my favorite Easter activity!
sounds like fun and yes Easter has such great meaning its one of my favorites too!
I love making ‘resurrection’ cinnamon rolls with my son to teach him about Jesus rising. We take crescent rolls and wrap them around individual marshmallows that have been covered in melted butter and rolled on cinnamon and sugar. We then bake then and look to see that the marshmallow is ‘gone’ just like Jesus was gone from the tomb. It is a fun, yummy, and easy way to teach him about the meaning of Eaater. 🙂
What a perfect way to teach about the resurrection…must try it!
For as long as I can remember, we have always done a big Easter egg hunt as a family in my parent’s backyard. As kids growing up my siblings and I looked forward to that tradition every year and now as all of us are parents ourselves, all 15 grandchildren can’t wait for it every year as well! Such fun memories 🙂
Coloring Easter eggs is my favorite thing to do with my family! Now that I have myown child I am excited to start decorating eggs with him.
Now that my kids are getting older I love to dye Easter eggs with them and then do an egg hunt with the eggs that we dyed. I also really love to watch their faces as they find their Easter baskets. Kids just make every holiday so much more fun that just choosing one tradition to like is hard.

Am I allowed to enter? 🙂 I really want that Tea Collection gift card. 🙂 My favorite Easter activity is obviously the Egg hunt. It is so fun to see my kids get excited for the eggs and what’s inside. I think I have more fun setting it up than they do. Holidays are way more fun with kids!

Have a brunch with our family. It is so nice to be all together and see the children play together!!!!
Easter has always been a favorite holiday in my family. Traditions are big every holiday. New Easter dress, finding eggs, pretty decorations, and yummy food. As with any holiday it really comes down to time spent with family the ones you love.
We totally agree spending time with those you love that is what its all about! 🙂
Growing up my mom would always have a scavenger hunt with little rhyming clues that took us all over the house until we found our Easter baskets. We loved it! Even today we make her carry on the tradition for the little grandkids 🙂
Ps. Those pictures are so so darling of those cutest kids!!
How fun! Love the idea for clues that lead to the easter basks! Thank you appreciate the compliment! xx 🙂
I love the time spent talking about Christ. I love a good egg hunt, but my heart swells when we spend time as a family discussing the reason for the season.
I liked you all on Facebook!

My favorite Easter activity is dying eggs followed by hunting for them 🙂
I liked everyone on fb, but I don’t have a smart phone or tablet so no Instagram account here 🙁 Couldn’t tell if that made me ineligible for the contest.
