A special thanks to Karen from mychicbump.com for her savvy work behind the scenes to make sure 1 lucky mama had the best Mother’s Day around!
I am thankful for my mother’s example of Faith! She taught me to know and understand that I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares about me…and that with GOD all things are possible! Happy Mother’s day mom! I love you!
I’m grateful for my mothers endless lessons of compassion. She taught me to love and be understanding of everyone, regardless of their situation. She taught me everyone has something good about them and to love, accept and be compassionate to everyone.
I learned unconditional love from my mom, and she is also the sweetest person I know and I strive to be like her every day as I await my little girl’s arrival this summer. Love you mom!
I am happy my mom always put family first. I never felt that her work, personal life, housework, etc came before us. I need to do better at showing my family they come first.
I am thankful that my mom passed on the value of spending quality time together as a family. All 6 of us had dinner around the table every night and I now do this with my own family. It’s important to gather around the table to talk about our day. I’m a mommy to a beautiful one year old girl and this new job as a mom can be overwhelming! It’s nice to spend quality time with my hubby and baby.
I’ve learned so much from my Mom. How to be strong & hold on to faith, even when things look hopeless. I’ve learned that you can be wrongfully accused & still have an attitude of love & forgiveness. She is my best friend & role model.
My mother taught me to always look for the good in others. We don’t know what may be happening in others lives so we must never judge and be quick to forgive!
My mom to me is the epitome of what a mother should be. She puts everyone else before herself and is the most selfless person I know. She has taught me to do the same. She has taught by example that family comes first and I am so thankful for that example of love and devotion.
My mom is the best mom in the world! She was a single mother and raised my older brother and I completely alone- no family or anyone to help her. Being a new mommy now, I have no idea how she did it.
Being a single mother at 19 yrs old and no college education, my mom worked her bum off to provide for my brother and I. She worked her way up from being a secretary to being a Telecom Executive. She did this while always showing my brother and I unconditional love. She also went to all of my dance concerts and anything my brother was doing.(from fencing to plays)
She has taught me that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to without compromising showing love to those you care about.
I learned so much from my mom. I can’t even begin to list everything. I am excited this year on my first mother’s day to begin to attempt to impart at least a little of my mother’s wisdom on my own baby.
I’ve learned the importance of saving from my mom. She’s taught me how to be thrifty and how far a few coupons can go. As a mom myself I know that everything adds up!
My mom has taught me how to be a servant and how to find joy in serving for Christ. What a great thing to pass down to me and I hope that my children learn the importance of serving for the Kingdom!
My mother has taught me how to always push my self to be the very best I can be. She has also helped me push myself to do things I never would have done on my own. She is a great example of motherhood to me- especially now as I am expecting my first in August.
I’m thankful for my mom and how she taught me to always serve others. She is continuing to serve others everyday whether it be in the church, with friends, family, or schools. I’m blessed to say she is my mom. Happy Mothers Day Mom!
My mom taught me to choose to be happy. She’s been going blind for the last 10 years and has chosen to make a wonderful life in spite of her hardships. I hope I can have the grace that she has!
I am thankful that my mother taught me what unconditional love was and that I am able to share and teach it to my children
My mother taught me to be an independent and determined woman. I wouldn’t have graduated from college without her support or example.
My mother taught me patience. She never raised her voice until she went through menopause!
My mother taught me to be present. To stop and appreciate what is going on in the moment. And to never want more than I have. She taught me that I already have everything I need. The two most amazing gifts I ever could have asked for.
My mother taught me to to the best you can with what you have. Not every situation is ideal but you can still be a wonderful loving mother by example. My mother was very young and on her own. Growing up I always knew she loved me and would take on the world for me. Now that I have three children of my own, I realize how hard it must have been for her and how much she must have struggled and I never felt that as a child. She did a great job.
My mother & sister (who helped my mother raise me) has taught me to see the best in others. I also have learned how mothers are strong, beautiful, patient, caring, and pretty much are super women! My mother worked full time, raised a family of 5 and still was able to find time for our family…and now having my 1st child, I understand how you just find time to do everything!
I’m thankful my mom taught me about strength!! She was a single mother with two kids who rose from the bottom all the way to the top!! I’m so proud of her, and now that I’m a mother I can only hope I can be as amazing as she is! No matter the obstacle thrown at her she concurs it with strength and pride, I’m in absolute awe of her!
I am thankful for my mother’s example of Patience! She taught me to understand we should value everyone’s strengths, even when there are opportunities. Good things come to those who wait…
I learned so much from my mother, but most importantly she taught me how to endure my trials in life and endure them well. She was an amazing women that I love and miss everyday!! Love you a bushel and a peck!
My mother is the hardest worker I know. She never missed a night of cooking dinner and had a policy of always putting the laundry away the moment it got out of the dryer, so there were never piles of laundry everywhere (like at my house haha). She is so selfless and always giving and doing things for others without complaining. She is such an amazing woman!
I am very thankful for my mom. She’s the one who taught me about faith and how to navigate life through difficult times. She always taught me to kill people with kindness. She inspires me in so many ways. She’s actually more outgoing than I am, so I look up to her in this way. She knows how to make people laugh a lot and I really admire that about her.
So thankful God blessed me with her.
Great giveaway! 🙂
