Ranch Dressing at our home is a staple…from salads, to nachos, to dipping  our veggies and quesadillas. Since it is in such high demand, I set out to create the healthiest version possible for my family without sacrificing any flavor.   Here is my version of a ranch dressing mix made healthy…in less than one minute you simply take a tablespoon of the mix add-in lower-fat options of buttermilk and or mayo for less calories then mix it up with a wire whisk.  I like to use the mayo made with canola oil but there are many different versions,  just pick the one you like best!

First you will need to make the quick 5 minute ranch dressing mix, then store it in an air tight container so that it’s available whenever you need to whip up more ranch dressing. It takes about 5 minutes to create the dry mix portion, but you only have to do it once.  This recipe can make approx. 42 pint bottles of salad dressing.  By the time you calculate the savings from creating your own mix vs. buying those individual ranch dressing mix packets…it adds up to quite a bit of savings!  Many have said it even tastes better than the ones they buy at the store! I would have to agree!

Here is what you will need…

1st gather the Ranch Dressing Mix ingredients: You can either buy the bigger containers or you pick them up from the bulk food section
