Super Buddy don’t let the blogger kryptonite defeat you!!!
THANK YOU! What an exciting opportunity! I am so grateful to be a part of this fun contest!
Good luck Tina, and Thank you KidShop what a wonderful opportunity you have given these contestants. Thanks again
Thank you for the amazing opportunity! I hope our little Kellan gets his dream room.
Thank you all for the chance! As an Army wife and mom of 4 girls, we could really use this! We don’t have a crib for our newborn and money is tight with 4 kids! This would be a blessing! Thank you! <3
Go Army Wife, love you and my sweet baby granddaughters <3
ARMY Strong, go Tina!
Yay Ginny and Jack!!
KK
C’mon all military wives! Vote for #1 Tina and help out one of our own. Repost where other military families will see it! She has four little girls and needs the help!
So I looked at all the entries. I had to go with the Army wife with 4 young girls…nuff said. But I came back and voted for Little Evie too because of her special needs. What I didn’t quite understand was the Interior Designer, with an active Design Blog entering a contest to win a fully designed room for her child. I would think with all her vast knowledge & talents she could design her own room. Seems like a conflict of interest if you ask me. Just saying….
We appreciate your comment, Each one of these mom’s is deserving and it’s unfair to pass any judgment when we can not see what they may be battling.
This contest was created to make a positive impact as we celebrate family and mother’s…coming from a mother of 5 I never fully had the space I wanted to enjoy with my little ones till my last and 5th baby, and I’m sure people would be surprised by that even with my background in design and experience…it took that long to be able to finally afford that space….
each one of these contestants we feel is deserving and we are only sorry we can’t help them all! 🙂 We will continue on our mission to help as many as we can! Thanks for your support 🙂
@Tina — Fight for it, Tina! Get on the Army Wives forums and ask for help and votes!! You’ve got a HUGE network that has your back!
Hmm.. Kim, that was kind of harsh? “Perpetual contest spammer”? No, I’m just a mom who can’t afford much for her kids, so I try to win them. Sometimes I win sometimes I lose but none the less, it’s for my kids, not myself. All of these children deserve the best, and that’s what us moms are trying to do here. I’m sorry you feel the way you do,
You go Girl! We started this opportunity for all mom’s out there…they are our heros! We wanted to create something for them to enjoy with their child…every single one of these 5 semifinalists is a deserving mother…our only wish is that we could HELP ALL OF THEM! We appreciate all of the support we continue to receive in accomplishing our dream and mission with destination nursery!
I think we are all here because we love our kids. We are all moms doing the best we can. We all have different talents as well as different crosses to bear. You never know what kind of battle someone else is fighting. Pointing fingers and saying any of us don’t deserve something awesome is never nice. We are all worthy.
Please keep the comments positive. You can encourage and route for the contestant that you’d like to see win this prize without tearing down anyone else. Let’s keep the spirit of this contest positive as a way to celebrate moms and children and not a forum for attack.
There have now been mean spirited comments directed at two of us, and I’d like to see that stop. Momma’s have enough on their plate without having to justify themselves publicly.
AMEN! We could not agree more you just never know what someone may be going through and it is not our right to pass judgement! YAY for these 5 amazing women and mother’s now let’s all finish strong and show each one of them our support! xx 🙂
Ladies, let’s be positive and give a cheer for each of these incredible women! Le’ts also remember that you may not always know what crosses people are bearing. Contestant #3, Wells, was born with craniosyntosis and had had skull surgery by the time she was 3 months old. Thanks to amazing healthcare professionals, experimental surgery and loving parents, she’s a precocious 3 year old, well-deserving of a beautiful new room!
Yay Jack, Ginny Lea & Rob!
Why Did you close Tina’s poll?
sorry just a little glitch in the system its is now fixed! thanks for letting us know 🙂
Thank you to all who voted for us for the support. We might not have a high number of votes at the end of the day, but we are grateful for every one!
We aren’t the type to give up before the end, so if you want to know a little more about Evie please go here – http://magpiedpiper.wix.com/voteforevie
As you can see, I am no interior designer and could use plenty of help!
I have voted several times. It amazes me that some people can make something that is supposed to be fun and so positive so negative. I am not claiming to know each of these finalists personally and I highly doubt anyone on here does, so maybe before making judgements about what people have or what they do, take a moment to realize this contest is for children! Good luck to all the finalists:)
