Newport cottages started with a young family over 17 years ago…In anticipation of their first baby’s arrival, Pockets and Cristina Alvarez began shopping for baby furniture. They soon discovered that they were having a hard time finding what they were looking for. After convincing her husband to build a few pieces for their own son…a new business was born.
