Gold Thankful Jar
Our DIY Fall Thanksgiving craft is a sparkly gold “Thankful” jar. This jar is made from a jar that’s been re purposed. First spray paint the lid & deer then we added a simple “thankful” wording to the jar with a gold foil pen. This jar is perfect for keeping around all month long, your family can add what their grateful for each day of the month. On Thanksgiving day open the jar and read all the things your family and you are thankful for, a fun simple fun way to count all your blessings! It’s the perfect way to create conversation at family dinner!
Supplies:
Old Glass Jar ( I used a Pickle Jar)
Gold Spray Paint
Gold Foil Pen
Mini Deer or Animal
Thankful Printable Here
Directions:
I used an old Clausen’s pickle jar, If you have an old jar laying around use that! Also the best spray paint to use is Rustoleum Metallic Gold.
Allow gold spray paint to dry, adhere the gold deer to the jar lid, with hot glue or super glue.
These are the supplies you’ll need for creating the gold “thankful”
Tape the “Thankful” print out to the inside of the glass jar, position as desired.
Trace the letter with the Gold Foil pen onto the glass, allow time for the gold to dry.
Voila, one easy recycled “Thankful” jar for your family to add all their things they are thankful for, be sure to read them over Thanksgiving day lunch or dinner!
