There are so many fun traditions! We love to head to the Christmas tree farm and pick out our tree together. Advent calendars are a great way to countdown to Christmas. Baking cookies, seeing Santa, book exchange, and riding the Holiday express train top the list!
Taking the kids to look at lights and going home to KC for a week.
I’m a fan of making tissue or paper snowflakes and having my wee one put them on the tree. I also love decorating the tree immensely + making the house smell of cinnamon
Xmas eve we get the kids a box it has a new xmas movie, pj’s, popcorn and hot chocolate. Snuggle in and watch that new movie.

I grew up listening/singing to disney music while baking christmas cookies. We also celebrate christmas on the evening of the 24th (we are german)
Two of my favorite holiday traditions are taking my girls to the Pink Pig in Atlanta and making gingerbread men.
We always decorate the tree while listening to the Nutcracker. And then every year, whether we’re together or apart, I bake Christmas treats with my momma- in person or via Skype.
I love taking my kids to breakfast with santa every year and walking around the temple and looking at the christmas lights.

We like to take pictures of the kids “for santa” in front of the christmas tree on christmas eve. We also give a piece of fruit in the stocking to keep up the tradition my mom had growing up in mexico.

I hope to start a new tradition with the addition of our little one. Trying to sew something special every year as a keepsake. Also, home made hot cocoa and fresh baked shortbread cookies.

I love making Christmas cookies! I make a whole bunch! Gifting them is enjoyable too. Another tradition that we’ve just started this year, is decorating the Christmas tree! We purchased a living tree this year… It will be potted outside to use again for next year! Watching it grow alongside our littles is a very exciting tradition I look forward to documenting in the years to come! Yay family!!! Yay Christmas!!!
What a great contest!! I am so excited to start traditions with my husband and out daughter (she is almost 9 months). Every year we travel back to Ohio and visit family and I can’t wait for her to remember traveling every Christmas to see the snow! We always play tons of board games on Christmas Eve and I think that as she gets older she will look forward to that. 🙂 I love reading other family’s traditions to get ideas!!

One of my favorite traditions that we do is our family Christmas party where all of our extended family gets together and Santa comes and visits as well. My other favorite is breakfast on Christmas morning! Homemade biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and tons of other goodies while we snuggle up and open presents.

I can’t wait till my kids are old enough to decorate sugar cookies then watch the old Rudolf and Snowman movies like I used to do when I was younger with my moms cousin.
