Sharing our first question today from Linda in Denver…
Dear Destination Nursery,
My husband and I are expecting our first baby in March and we recently found out we are having a little girl! We have settled on a blush and gold nursery theme and already have most of what we need in place. Although I love what we have so far, we definitely need a small table lamp for her dresser and a side table for next to the glider. We could also benefit from a couple of accessories to tie it all together and give it some oomph. We are currently renting, so please nothing heavy or that needs mounting onto the wall. Thanks for your help!

Dear Linda,
We just LOVE the Blush and Gold trend and are thrilled with the ideas we sourced for your nursery! We started with a gorgeous side table from Target’s Nate Burkus Collection. It’s modern silhouette + peach palette are the perfect combo! We then found a great selection of lighting options to chose from that will really make a statement while staying functional and affordable. Moving on to your accessories, a garland is an excellent choice to get a lot of bang for your buck, plus you can secure it to the wall with washi tape or tacks to keep your walls pristine and hole free. Next, easily add a cute storage cube like the one we found at Urban Outfitters against the wall to keep books and toys tucked away. And finally, a cozy throw and pillow keep mama and baby comfy and cozy while effortlessly adding a great pop of color to your little one’s gorgeous space! (Designers Tip – Add pops of coral and cream to a blush and gold color palette to add depth and interest in the room. Hints of gray and mint can add even more dimension and balance warm and cool tones for a styled eclectic look.)
Best of luck to your growing family!
