Q: What inspires your work?

A: Interiors shops are popping up everywhere now – there certainly seems to be a wave to decorating going through most peoples houses thanks to Pinterest and all the home TV shows.  The shops in my area that I frequent often are Norsu Interiors, Crate Expectations, Turner and Lane, places like Urban Home Republic are also cheap ways of doing a quick and inexpensive mini revamp of your space. If only I had time to read blogs …. so I don’t really have any that I read …. but I do love instagram! I’m a real color fanatic – I especially love using bold colors in kids rooms where I can really unleash!

Q: How do you handle raising a family + running a business?

A: I find it very tricky at times … I wish I had time to make the beds every morning but I don’t! My work day starts after I drop the kids off around 9am and then I clock back onto being a Mum at 3pm. During my work, day time is so precious so I don’t want to waste time doing the shopping, cleaning the house or cooking – so when the kids come home I then run around trying to tidy up and cook whilst listening to what the kids did that day and helping them with their homework. Suffice to say at the end of the day I’m absolutely pooped!!!
