Favorite holiday tradition: Christmas tree hunting!  It’s our family tradition to go christmas tree hunting the saturday after thanksgiving…it’s something my kids look forward to every year! We love to make it an afternoon of fun in the snow…first we find the perfect tree, and with a 15 foot ceiling…it’s important we find a tall one haha!   Once we find the right one (sometimes this part can be SLOW and sometimes fast…we have learned that usually the first great tree we find ends up being the ONE)  This year we found it right away, my husband then chops it down with a chainsaw.   Then we build a nice fire for a little hot dog roast!  I’m not really a hot dog eater, but something about a hot dog roasted over the fire tastes so good! YUM!  A little side note…make sure you pick up your tree tag ahead of time…as well not all areas are within the right zone to go and chop down a tree.  So make sure you are prepared and go to the right places.   Happy Holidays! xxochristmas-tree-hunting-4christmas-tree-hunting-12 christmas-tree-hunting-lindzchrist-mas--tree-hunting-13christrmas-tree-hunting-7christmastree-hunting1christmas-tree-hunting-9christmas-tree-hunting5christmas-tree-hunting-2christmas-tree-hunting-10hot-dog-roastchristmas-tree-hunting6
