I have been inspired this year by seeing my daughter take joy in the holidays. This is the first year she understands truly what is going on and she gets so excited
We are doing a lot of donating this holiday season. Decluttering and off to our favorite thrift markets (who sell for nonprofit causes and also toys for kids who may go without).
I baked all weekend to make goodie tins for each of my coworkers and the guys at my husbands work. I love giving gifts, even if it’s juse food.
Eveyday acts of kindness from holding the door/elevators, to letting people go before you, or paying for the person behind you simple acts of kindness is all it takes ro make ur day!
I have been inspired this year by watching my 2.5 year old son. When he finds a gift for someone else and exclaims “she will love this!” Or drops money into the Salvation Army pot at the front of the store 🙂
I’ve been inspired to give this season by my oldest daughter, (4), whose been helping me go through her belongings to give to those in need. Also, the place where my husband trains is gathering donations for the Hope house in town for single moms.
We love love love baking for our neighbors and loved ones. Baking allows us to spend time together as a family and show others that we care about them!
I’m going to bake cookies with my mom and daughters to hand out to the homeless people in our area. Hopefully that will help spread the cheer of the holidays and the reason for the season
I have been inspired to give this holiday season by my daughter, Emma. She has helped me (with a little assistance from her elf, Ellie) raid our cupboards for the food drive while also adding stuff to our shopping cart while at the store! She has also helped pick out the toys for the kid we adopted. And later this week, we go through her toys to get rid of several of them to donate to the local woman and childrens shelter.
Inspired by my babies and Joy Dom within!

People inspire me to give back during the holiday season, it’s what the spirit of Christmas is all about…giving to others to put a smile on their faces, bring up their spirits, make their day. I just went on a Walmart field trip with my daughters class, my daughter and all her classmates earned money from their parents/friends/relatives by doing miscellaneous chores in order to go on this shopping trip to buy for their class adopt a family for Christmas.
I’ve been inspired by seeing how giving and empathetic people have been to those less fortunate during a time with several sad and unfortunate world events are taking place.
I have found the power to be inspired by myself this year after I overcame the struggle of getting pregnant and was able to get through the first trimester blues, vomit and exhaustion. I have not seen myself pull through in this way after loosing control of my own body and symptoms. This shows the strength & love all women have deep inside for their children.

I’ve been inspired by my children. They show me what really matters and what is really important and that giving is important.
I’ve been inspired this holiday season to donate money and goods to those in need, as well as to be kind to all I meet.
I have been inspired by the season by volunteering at our local church making meals for the homeless as well as needy families. There is no better feeling than giving back!
While at the store the other day, my oldest noticed a toy donation box. She asked what it was for, and I explained that some children do not get much for Christmas, and it is to help. She said, “Doesn’t Santa visit them?” Though we don’t really discuss Santa, I responded that sometimes he gets overwhelmed and needs some help from others. She announced that she wanted to help, too, so we bought some small toys for the donation box.
I have been inspired by the Christmas spirit by my husband because he has given many hours of his time to help families have Christmas cards to send out and lovely photos to treasure forever.
Help out a person that needs help at the store, church, work and etc
Signed up for funds to be directly taken out of every paycheck to be donated to united way.
After becoming a mom, I feel so much more empathy for those who are going without. I’ve really taken that to heart this holiday season.
This year we were inspired by my son’s school annual sick drive for the homeless center, my family got together and went around neighborhoods asking for jackets and warm weather clothing for the shelter. In Arizona we are getting colder than normal temps and the homeless need all the jackets and blankets we can round up.
I am inspired to help those in need within my community and will be baking snacks to pass out at the local hospital to be distributed as fit. Setting an example of a giving heart is the most important trait I could teach to my son.
I’ve been inspired by falling on hard time and realizing that I may have it bad but someone always has it worse and being in a funk won’t get me anwhere so doing things for others helps brighten my day!
I’ve been inspired buy seeing how excited my kids are to help others!
I was first inspired by Kid President back in October. I started handing out “helper” bags in during his “Socktober” campaign during which he encourage people to help our homeless friends. I keep several bags in my car at all times to give to anyone I cross paths with who might need a little help. Each bag has a new pair of warm socks, a couple of soft snacks, a bottle of water, and a note of encouragement. The smiles from the people I helped have encouraged me to never stop. My son is only 6 months old, but I hope to teach him how important it is to help others by setting a good example!
I’m inspired by seeing all that others have done. And now that I have children of my own I want to set a good example for them as they grow.
We’re giving to some non profits this year and I really look forward to helping out!
My new twins have given me perspective on what’s important in life.
My girls have helped me become more giving. I typically hoard things like baby blankets, because you never know when you’ll need them, and this year they helped me clean out my stash and donate almost 40 to a local no-kill shelter. Animals get cold too and could use some soft padding for their cages!
Twice I’ve had strangers pay for a small meal for me this month while I was in line to pay. How could I not be inspired to give as well?!? Thanks!
My LO is such a sweetie. He always tries to share food and toys with me. We see a lot on the news about people who have nothing. That’s always a good reminder to give to others and to lend a helping hand. We try to help with projects that come our way.
My children are absolutely my inspiration. I want to be a better person for them and to show them the good and positivity that this world is capable of. This life is not so bad when you focus on the light.
I have been inspired by my sweet 2 yr old daughter who wishes everyone we a Merry Christmas! I am also inspired to give back by our little boy who will be joining us in March, we have donated all of big sisters clothing to those in need
My husband is such a saint and it’s so inspiring! He is always help g people– shoveling their snow, lending tools, helping to build a deck, fixing my car. I need to learn to be more like him!
I want to be an inspiration to my kids! They’ve inspired me to do small pay it forward things, like buying the coffee for the car behind me in the drive thru or handing someone a $5 gift card while they’re shopping. Tis the season!
My husband is finishing up his last year of his Masters degree so we are on a tight budget this year. With the budget being tighter than usual, I’ve been inspired this year to really focus on thoughtful gifts versus spending a lot on each person. It’s helped me slow down and really focus on the meaning of the season!
This year I have been inspired to DO more for loved ones. Can I fold your laundry? Can I make you dinner? Can I watch your kids? Hoping to continue this trend year round. “Do small things with great love” – Mother Teresa
I hosted a party to earn free books for my kids, and in return I had my oldest son pick out a few ladies that attended the party to receive free books from US as a thank you gift.
I love to bake for everyone! Neighbors, friends, coworkers, my husbands coworkers!
My sons and husband inspire me everyday. They make me want to be the best me everyday. I feel so grateful that I’m so blessed with so much love I want to share that love with others. I’m teaching my boys at a young age that even if you don’t have much you can still make others feel loved and important. We love to craft, cook, and share our belongings and time with others. Smile you’re loved!
I love giving because it makes others happy and it is great to see their face light up because of your thoughtfulness!
I’m inspired by my children. I want them to learn how to love to give, and not just receive! We made Christmas cookies to give to the neighbors this year which was a lot of fun and a new tradition.
I have been inspired this holiday with the giving of sweet treats and holiday cards
I have been inspired through my children. I had them choose a tag from a Christmas tree to buy gifts for someone in need.
I have been inspired by just being in my neighborhood! Everyone is so friendly, we are giving smiles and it seems that everyone is joyful this time of year. We love giving back to the community and being hwlpful wherever we see it.
Helping out those who are less fortuneate
I have been inspired because so many have given to me in need that when I can I return the favors!
I have been inspired this season by our IVF success with our first baby! It has been a long journey and we are so excited to share our Christmas joy and belief in miracles with others.
I’m inspired every time I read a story about how generous people still are. From giving of time to resources and money. So our five children and I have spent time bell ringing this year, spent a day making and baking Christmas Goodie plates to hand out, and tomorrow, we will head to the nursing home to put on a concert for the residents.
I’ve been inspired to let go of much of the clothes in my closet to donate to others. The weather can be so cold here that I’m sure someone else could use my extra coats and sweaters.
I am inspired by my children. Almost daily, they show me how I should care for others.
I’m not sure that my son constantly telling me “I want that, get that” is inspiring me to much this season. LOL Its hard to feel inspired this year since my dad passed earlier this year. Even our family tradition of going to the zoo to see the holiday lights met with a scaled down version this year that depressed me. My biggest inspiration is to see the kids happy.
I’ve been inspired by my family, they are always so generous this time of year. My parents are especially generous to family members and others in need.
This season I was inspired to share the joy of giving with my daughter as she selflessly chose a pony set she loved and donated to toys for tots, so another little girl can play too! I am amazed and inspired by the kindness in her heart daily!
I’ve been inspired seeing local mamas give away their babies toys to those who can’t afford any, it inspired us to do the same!
This year my first born is old enough to understand that helping others is important. He was so proud to put a few dollars in the Salvation Army collection pot today while we were out shopping. I also had him gather a box full of toys to donate 🙂
Is this international?
I’ve been inspired but little acts of kindness I have been noticing when out shopping!
I participated in the Angel Tree at my son’s school. I love being able to give back to others who are less fortunate.
Growing up as a street girl and getting adopted by a wonderful family, I know what it’s like to have nothing. Around this time, I think of the birth of Christ and how He spent His 3 years in ministry loving and caring for the weak and poor. Through His life and what I know and have experienced, I’m inspired to give what I am able to give to those in need and to show kindness and compassion. I enjoy baking for people too!
i helped out (surprised!) a relative with some basic needs via a giant amazon prime shipment . she’s dealing with some terrible chronic health problems and hasn’t been able to work
We’re teaching my three year old about donating you those less fortunate. He has filled boxes of toys, books, and clothes to donate.
so far so good
I’ve been inspired as a new mom to slow down this season and be intentional about what traditions and focus we are teaching our daughter to have (not just during this special season) but also year round. I want her to have a generous and compassionate heart and that starts with our attitudes about giving as well as small acts of service that she can participate in (Angel tree, joyfully giving to charities, helping to pack gift boxes for others).
I have been inspired by how generous my mom is. Even as a 20 something she still loves to generously give to me and my family, which shows just how amazing her generous spirit is. And she always does it with a smile. My mom is the best!
I’ve been inspired to give by my four year old son. He is always thinking of others and has taken it upon himself to go through his toys and find some we can give to little ones in need.
My small group got together to bless one of us who just lost her job. We gave her and her five kids gifts for Christmas. Giving to others allows us to receive so much more.
I’m inspired by my son to make home made crafts as gifts this year <3
I have a newborn who changed everything for me! No more wanting for material things – only to be with her and.watch her grow and learn
I’ve recently been inspired to be intentional in teaching my little one why I do what I do, especially during the holiday season. I want him to treasure the nativity story so he can grow up knowing how deeply loved he is by us, and even more by God.
Merry Christmas
My husband & I have decided to sponsor a foster child this year. We are buying Christmas presents for a 4 year old little girl. If we win, we’d love to give her some . Merry Christmas All
I have been inspired by seeming Christmas through my son’s eyes. Everything is so magical to him and it makes me remember to enjoy the small things about this time of year!
Been struggling with pregnancy and my mom has inspired me to look to help others instead of focusing on many problems and dwelling on my problems. It’s been helped me to feel happier by serving others. Plus it helps bring Christ into Christmas.
I have been inspired by our rescue pup! We decided to volunteer our time to walk the SPCA pups and make them homemade dog biscuits 🙂
My husband works in the er and our 3yo told him to take her favorite treats to give to someone to make them better.
I have been inspired to give this season, and every season because of what God gave me. His son. I am so filled with the love of God I want to bless others and show them their value, and some times giving to others is a way to their heart!
I’m inspired by seeing the reactions of my family as friends every year when they open their gifts. It truly makes it more fun to give then receive when you see someone get really excited about something you give them.
I have been inspired by my children wanting to collect up their coins to give to the Salvation army bell ringers.
I’ve been inspired to donate low sodium food to the food pantry for people in low sodium diets.
My daughter and I bake regularly, she’s almost 3 and I’m pretty positive wants to be a pastry chef the light in her eyes when we’re cooking is enough to melt my heart she’s inspiring
All the cards Saphire received from people she doesn’t know
I’m inspired to give more because of the blessing and opportunity I’ve had to work with the homeless through my nursing program. I’ve always been skeptical coming across these individuals, but being immersed in a place where I can really see the problems makes me more humble. I’ve been involved with blessing bags, and my family and I adopted two families this year for Christmas. I’ll never meet those families but being able to serve them made me feel good, and made me really want to give their kids a special Christmas. Serving others makes me want to serve more and that in itself, is a major blessing to feel that way!
My two year old daughter has inspired me to get into the spirit of giving, she loves to give more than she loves to recieve. So, seeing the joy that it gives her, makes this mamas heart happy.
I’m inspired by seeing people slow done actually and be friendly. Around our town there are a lot of people living on the streets and I’ve seen more people actually give money or smiles verses ignoring them and moving past quickly.
I have been inspired by a small grup of people who’s saves dogs and cats in very bad situation. I want to spend more of my time helping animals and people who needs it
