Winter is in full swing and it has us working on inside home projects…what better time than now for a little room refresh or redo! One of the biggest questions we get from our clients + readers about creating their perfect space comes right down to the final details or styling.  From that gallery wall, to styling a shelf, or fun reading space…knowing how to make it look the best can definitely be a challenge.   It can be so easy to over complicate it….so today we are sharing a few tips +  inspired kids spaces to help you create your perfectly imperfect space.

Afterall the imperfect ones in our opinion tend to turn out the best! Happy Friday loves xoxo!

1. KEEP IT SIMPLE…less really is more…having a few items styled together is more pleasing to the eye + creates a calm peaceful energy.   For example this darling bed pictured below, we like the scalloped garland above the bed with a few simple solid-shaped pillows…there’s lots of dimension to make it interesting and fun.   Just enough without looking overdone.

2. Display your books + toys as art which lets them double as decor…not only will it save you lots of money but it looks amazing and more fun! All of these spaces do it well…

3. Last but not least, It does not have to look perfect to be good…the most imperfect spaces are our favorite. Don’t sweat it or overthink it! Start with one wall, gathering a few items then work on the next wall or little corner from there…your fun child’s bedroom or play space will come together in no time!
