WINNER Announced below!
Destination Nursery  traveled to sunny Arizona with Tana Hallows,  installing a fun family room play space for beautiful Annie Pearce @anniesforgetmeknots and her 4 darling littles.  What a great opportunity it was for us to meet her and her dear family.  We are very thankful that we chose this adventure in Arizona with them…one of our biggest projects to date, it was a huge team effort between all of us…including Annie and her awesome husband Logan.  We could not have pulled this off without everyones help as it really was months in the making, from our behind the scenes planning to Annie and her husbands prep work, hanging ship lap, painting walls plus even painting the stone on their fireplace, as well as painting the piano, + creating a beautiful wood mantle.  Hard work does pay off and the end result was more than worth it!
Another perfectly imperfect space… just how we like it…the first family room/play space we have had the pleasure of creating for beautiful mama blogger Annie Pearce @anniesforgetmeknots and her 4 darling littles! Â She has a 1 year old baby boy Lincoln, 3 year old twins, a boy and girl, Bryken and Reesie (Charyse), and a 5 year old girl, Kolli (Kollins).
Excited to kick off this New Year featuring Annie’s fun family play space, thankful for our awesome partners + the brands that made all of this possible especially our main sponsors Munchkin and Interior Define. Â Looking forward to more fun travel for 2017 as we finish several more kids spaces…Where will be our next destination?!

You captured this beautifully Sally!
What a beautiful space! My family eats together and reads the Bible together, and we wouldn’t be the same without those two things.
that is awesome! 2 very important things that will continue to keep your family strong!! thank you for sharing
No matter how tired I am (35 weeks pregnant with a 2 year old!) I always make sure we sit down as a family for dinner during the week. (My mother always made sure we did as a family growing up as well and it has held so many dear memories for me). It’s so important to unplug and talk to each other. My husband & I always try to take our toddler somewhere new (park or play gym) on the weekend to dedicate extra learning/exploring time for him. Family time is our whole world <3
thats awesome! Family dinner is must…even when they are older and busier, dedicating a few nights a week to this will pay off xx
We like talking walks together!! If the weather is good, we take a walk after dinner.
Hello! We love watching movies and cuddling on the couch together. Also every night before my husband and I put my oldest and her baby sister to sleep, we sing and pray together. It’s a special and simple way to disconnect from our busy lives and connect with each other♡
I absolutely adore this space and this family! I’ve been following Annie’s Forget Me Knots for a while now and she is so sweet. Her husband and family are so close to her and she balances her blog with grace and beauty. I’m happy for whoever wins this because it would be a huge blessing. I would give the prizes to my daughter and new grandbaby, Blake, and a friend who is having her first baby soon. ?? Thanks for the chance to win!
Annie is the best…it was an honor to work with her and get to know her on a personal level…this space really ended up being a dream. 🙂
Hi! I had a question: it won’t let me load the entry. What do I do?
did you get it to work? I hope you were able to try again 🙂
It shows I entered 5 times when I only filled it out once but I never saw a question anywhere. Could you please let me know where that is because I know you need to answer one to quality. Thank you! ☺
so sorry for the troubles…did it work for you to see the question then leave your comment here…please email us at hello@destinationnursery.com if it wont let you and we will be happy to help you finish that
thank you
We try to eat at least one meal together, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We also like to go for walks, whether around our neighborhood or taking a day trip somewhere. Doing both of these really helps us talk and bond even for a short period of time!
We love to go on walks/runs together when it’s warm, and eat dinner together!
This is such a beautiful space! Gorgeous images!
Our family really loves of nightly bedtime routine. It is so special full of playing, snuggling, singing, and reading. We also love to go on some sort of adventure every week. We love to go on hikes friendly for small children. KarenA
We eat dinner together as a family and love to hike. I really think it’s the small things that keep families close and strong.
Our baby is young, so right. Ow the two things we do as a family are singing songs and reading books at night. I’m sure many more habits and traditions will form over the years.
these are the best ways to start your traditions….the only thing just dont stop…even as they get older and it seems like they are growing out of the talking and tucking…still take the time each night and hug them even when they are older. 🙂
Our bedtime routine of singing songs and reading books I think is such a special moment for our family. Someday they will be big and won’t want to do that all together every night.
We always have a movie night on Friday or Saturday night with popcorn. We also read lots of books together at bedtime. One book isn’t enough… My husband and I are both elementary teachers 🙂
Two things that I love doing with my family are reading books, and heading to the nature parks!
I would like to make daily prayer and devotions a priority! Also going on nightly walks after dinner, no matter what the weather!
I am a big tradition loving girl! Something that my family and I love doing together often is celebrating every little holiday! Whether it be national doughnut day or valentine’s eve, it is so fun! Another thing we love doing is going on adventures in our glamper that we redid, dorothy! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up!
Beautiful room! We love to travel as a family and hope to do more of it this year–we are big believers that this really creates a lot of memories and strengthens our understanding of the world!
Our first baby is due in March, so I’m sure things will change as we grow – but right now we do family dinner every Sunday with my husbands whole family — and my hubby and I travel and sing together at various churches on sunday mornings… 🙂
Some things I would like for us to start doing are setting aside “date nights” not only for my husband and I but with just my husband and my son and with just my son and I. Individual quality time! Also, maybe setting aside a day for a “family night” as my boys get older- a game night or a movie night with all of us.
wonderful ideas !
I’d like to attend church service more often, and I would like to cook more with my family!
I would like to start doing the household chores together more, i.e. Folding laundry, dishes. Working together is what I remember most about growing up. Id also like to start serving others more together.
A goal we have this year as a family is to just spend more quality time together uninterrupted, and to just talk more and listen more intently to each other. I think those things will make huge differences in our family and strengthen our relationships.
We are also trying to cook some of our meals together if we’re home together. My husband and I will make dinner together or my son will help me bake some cookies. It makes it more fun when it’s not just one person in the kitchen alone!
I am trying to make more meals as a family that we haven’t tried before, I want my kids to be foodies and not afraid to try new things! Another thing we love doing as a family is family movie night! Forts, treats and cuddles… what more could you want in life?! A Land of Nod teepee would be so fun to add to this mix!
I would like to have a weekly family game night. I would like to continue to clean the house together as a family; it goes by much faster!
We play board games and watch movies as a family for relaxation! I would love to start going to theatre plays again…I used to do that and really loved them!
We love to go for family bike rides up the canyon especially on Sundays! Also praying together as a family is a must!
We are having our first girl after two little boys in June so everyone is really excited. We always make time to eat dinner together as a family and my boys love to do crafts with me while I sew for the new baby.
In the summer we like to go on family bike rides to the park and hikes up the nearby canyon.
We love exploring our own hometown as tourists! We love going to see the sights and eating at new fun places! Another thing we love to do is craft haha as in I find a project I want and my husband helps make it happen! And then the whole family helps paint and decorate!
Another thing I’d like to start doing as my boys get older is starting annual family traditions. For different holidays like Christmas we could decorate gingerbread houses or maybe with different seasons plan a fun outing. For example, I would LOVE to try skiing with my family as they get older! So many ways to make great memories every year.
We are BIG believers in family dinners and our Friday night pizza and a movie. For some reason food brings us together :).
food is the best way to bring everyone together…keep it up 🙂
In love with everything in this play room! Such an amazing job!! ?
I would like to incorporate a movie night during the week with my family, and I would like to do a reading hour once my LO knows how to read!
WE LOVE TO LISTEN TO WORSHIP MUSIC, AND WATCH HOW OUR GIRLS GIVE PRAISE TO THE LORD. WE ALSO LOVE TO LAY IN BED AND WATCH DISNEY MOVIES TOGETHER
I love when my kids ask ‘can we play a game together’ , ‘let’s all go on a walk’ or ‘We need to pray’ these sweet little things is what seems to make our kids happy and help them realize and feel the love of being together as family. These little things are what keeps us connected and united, and I will cherish these moments when the kids want ‘US’ to be together to do everything with them! ??
Love this room!! Makes me want to revamp my kids playroom!
Love this couch and all of the white!!!
The kids pick out 3-5 books are night before bed. They love it.
(Still thinking of things! Haha) A few other things that really strengthen our family is spending time with our extended family and spending time with our good friends. It really does take a village so having our kids spend time with other people who can love them and teach them is invaluable. So many family members and friends helps us raise our children in different ways, which makes us that much stronger overall.
We go on nature walks and watch movies together.
2 things we loooove to do together are: try new recipes and have a themed dinner night. So we could have Asian food and then after do a fun new activity that is popular in Asia! Another thing we love to do together is go to local museums and even college art galleries nearby that are free!
LOVE THIS 🙂
Thanks! It has been so fun! I hope we can be a little cultured as a family and that my kids are always willing and excited to try new things and foods! ?
We always read at least one bedtime book together as a family (usually many many more if my toddler’s choosing). We also love cooking and baking together!
I’d like to limit our screen time, but have a designated pizza and movie night every week! I’d also like to read stories/learn more about our ancestors together.
we hear you on the screen time, its a hard pull to get the right balance, but we love MOVIE night, and feel its a must for our family too!
Hi… I am not sure if the comment box on the widget comments it here for you or if i am suppose to do it here but I will do it anyways just in case:)
One thing we do as a family right now is having family dinners every single night. I either try and make dinner or do take out and all of us eat together at the same time. I did this growing up and I loved it and so i want to try and do that for my own little family! One thing that I want to do in the future is plan a yearly vacation with my family. Either do something simple like go to a local hotel or somewhere out of town. I just want to start creating more memories! Thanks!
these are awesome! thanks for sharing…:)
I’d love to travel more with my family , even if its to a local nature park. I would also love for us to work out together more often!
My family loves to travel even if it is a staycation! It is our time to reconnect as a family! Another thing we do together is on Monday nights we spend time together and have an activity and treat etc we call it family home evening! I oook forward to it all week!
staycation’s are the best! love family home evening!
Perfect inspiration for my kids playroom. The couch would be perfect!
Since my boys are still young I’m not sure what their interests will be. But, my husband and I want to try to encourage and foster them to be the best they can be. Whether we take them to volunteer, go to an educational summer camp or sign them up for a sport. We will be proud either way but as parents we look forward to encouraging and fostering them as they grow.
you are on the right track! and love your ideas, that is all you can do, encourage them to be the best they can be! xx
What I love most about this reveal is the brightness and sophistication achieved with the layered whites/neutrals, but it still feels so playful and fun with the pops of bright colors!
thank you! xx
2 things we love to do together as a family are have a picnic or movie night in our backyard! Also we love to go for sunday drives! It gives us a good time to connect again after a busy week and we also plan what we have in the upcoming week so we are all on the same page! Instagram: @mckenzieryan
that is awesome….Sunday drives and a backyard picnic…oh cant wait for summer!
I am counting down the days! This Utah snow is pretty but now that Christmas is past I am done with the snow!!
When my family is together we like to put away our phones and try to live in the moment, I feel like that really helps keep us connected. Another thing we like doing as a family is always trying to make dinner together as a family at the table every night a priority.
you are on the right tracks and what great things to focus on…putting phones away and family dinners together!
I’d love to make travel more of a family tradition for us: try at least one new city a year. As my kids continue to get older, id also like to get more involved with volunteering and giving back to others.
super ideas and planning a city to visit each year would be amazing and something we want to try too! thank you. As well giving back to others your kids will do what you do, so starting them young will foster that wonderful activity of service.
Two things we like to do as a family or would like to start doing!
1st: One thing my husband and I love to do together is play our instruments and sing. It’s such a nice way to spend evenings together- he plays guitar and I’m humbly trying to learn piano by ear 🙂
2nd: as our family of 2 will become a family of 3 in August (!!) I look forward to spending days fishing out on the lake with my husband and our little one. My husbands comes from a line of commercial ice fishermen and I look forward to him teaching his ways to our baby 🙂
that is wonderful! oh your baby will hear you now singing and playing….and im sure love the fishing family time together! great plans xx
What a dreamy living space! I love it all! I hope I win!
I’m not sure if my comment came through from the widget, so my 2 things are:
1. We eat dinner together every night, and go around the table sharing the best thing about our day
2. We take games or coloring books to Starbucks, and hang out while we drink coffee and hot chocolates!
love that you take the time each night to talk about your best part of the day…GRATITUDE is so powerful….thank you for sharing xx
Getting baby ready for bed together and having dinner together.
perfect…you are on the right track! xx
We eat dinner together and we pray before we go to work!
yay..the family that prays together stays together! we really believe that xx
We love to try new places to eat and running errands to costco!
We have family game night on Sunday’s and a pizza night each week.
awesome! make sure you keep up game night even when kids get older and they might want to just do their own thing.
Exciting!
We have been taking the babies to ride their bikes that they got for Christmas at the neighborhood park and they love it! But my favorite thing that we do together is go to church as a family every Sunday!
AWESOME! Keep doing it even when its hard 🙂
I think it would be cool to incorporate a family yoga session! Fun! I would like to continue our family trips to the library! Something for everyone!
yes any active activity to get everyone moving especially yoga is a must
How lovely! Our family musts are “snuggle time” in the morning and before bed — just some nice hugs and chats about our day/day to come; and reading books together — a great way to decompress, no matter how hectic our days were. On the weekends we always spend together time doing something active, usually in the park, even if it’s freezing — there’s just something about getting out into the fresh air!
love the snuggle time and chats…dont ever stop!
We take a walk, or rather Tiki (our cat) walks us in nature. Recently we started cooking together! (shh…Tiki thinks she’s a dog, so please don’t tell her)
We love spending time together, especially around bedtime. We read books, tell stories, listen to music and sing, and talk about our day.
wonderful! dont ever stop that bedtime ritual…protect it, modify it a little as they get older but dont stop!
I love this space!!! I’m designing my boys room and would love to incorporate theses ideas/items in it!!
I hope I did everything correctly, love this giveaway! Thank you!
Two things I would like to start as a family is a movie night! One night a week watch a movie all together. Another tradition I want to start is having my kids be more involved with making breakfast or dinner where they choose what we eat and help prep. Or making a baking day my daughter would love it. Just have to let my OCD go and let them make a mess!
yep that can be the hardest thing…Let GO…but you will see then get better and better at doing things and soon they will be trained to love to clean up the messes too 🙂
We pray together everyday. And when the warmer weather comes, we hope to take lots of hikes together. Our kids love sports, so doing something active is a great way for us to spend time together.
wonderful! keep doing that daily…and we agree doing something active together is the perfect way to strengthen your family
Every night of the week, we eat dinner together as a family. Another thing we do together is reading! When my son goes to bed, my husband and I will take turns reading books aloud. xx
love it…dont ever stop even when they get older and things get busy…
Shoot.. I left a comment here a few days ago about how my family loves to watch Wheel of Fortune every night and how it’s a bonding experience and it showed me it had posted, but now I don’t see it! I’d hate to get disqualified because of that! Can you see my comment? Or has a winner been picked already?
